Missing July Photos

So, our computer is getting old and isn't remembering things well.  In fact, it is starting to refuse storage of all my photos, no matter how memorable or adorable they are.  To combat this, I apparently stored some photos on my Google Drive, a welcoming place.  But that means when I use iPhoto to get photos for the blog, I missed these.

We took the boat out, Lilly and Greta took the wheel.  We took the boat out to Long Island and explored.

Baby Julius came out on many adventures this summer.

We also went to my cousin's farm for grilled pizzas and had a wonderful time.  Every time we get together we leave saying, we need to get together more often, but time always seems to get in the way.

We also went cherry picking.  This is by far our favorite activity in the summer in terms of picking.  The cherries are so delicious and so easy to pick.  And so inexpensive!

One evening I went out for a paddle with our friends Tim, Elizabeth and their dog, and our friends Matt and Monica.  It was delightful and a lovely night out on the lake.  Unfortunately the mosquitos came out in full force when we were done and we were eaten alive!

We also drove over to visit Nick's childhood best friend, John, and his family.  They spend most of the year in Africa, but spend a few weeks each summer back in Wisconsin.  We had a lovely day on the lake with them, the kids spending most of the day in the water coming up with all sorts of games.

The art of taking photos of more than one child at a time . . .
