After countless years as a child and adolescent psychiatrist, Nick's dad Tim retired. To celebrate, the Robertson family gathered in Ashland to celebrate. Friends of ours have a lovely house on the lake and let us rent their place for the weekend. Matt flew in from Brooklyn, the Robertson crew from Brainerd drove over, and Tim and Dianne came up from Eau Claire. Sam had an art show, so Suzy, Sam, and Julian stayed behind.
We spent time in and near the water and Tim did the Point to La Pointe swim. There was tons of delicious food consumed, games played, laughs had. It was a wonderful weekend of relaxing, hanging out, and enjoying celebrating the career of a very talented doctor.
