Last week would have been an ideal time to write some posts. I finally got over the grading that I was drowning in, my students were immersed in projects, so in the evenings I was actually able to do a bit of relaxing. Did I post? Nope. Tomorrow students begin to turn in the projects (pages for their biography books for elementary school students) and the grading will commence once again. I am also taking an online class, which I am really excited about on Mindfulness in Schools, but it will also take up some of my free time to blog.
So, long story short, I should have blogged ages ago, and it is getting late, so I am going to throw some photos together, add a few stories, and then go to bed.

| Putting on her own snowpants. She has some work to do. |
| It was a Lego building kind of morning. |
| The snow was not packy, so we built pile man instead of a snowman. |
| Lilly was dancing around the house singing, "I'm so beautiful!" |
| Lilly attempting to fit into Greta's PJs. |

It was a reading kind of morning. Greta is slowly turning into the avid reader her big sister is. She's even been caught sitting listening to a story with food in her mouth and stopping chewing, just like her big sister. How they can sit with partially chewed food in their mouths and not move their jaws is beyond me. |
| Just general sisterly goofiness. |
| A little "hock" |
Nick and Greta went to watch a Northland men's basketball game (which Greta of course called hock) and Lilly and I stayed home. Lilly isn't super fond of watching basketball because it is too loud. While they were at the game, Lilly and I put some paper on the floor of the kitchen and just drew together. It was really quite a bit of fun.

Picture One: Grandpa Rob surfing, Nana is swimming in the ocean, wearing goggles Picture Two: My work, people at the beach Picture Three: Combined drawing of a city. My half has a young man having fallen off his skateboard and his mom bringing him bandaids (per Lilly's suggestion). There is a mom pushing her baby in a buggy on Lilly's half. |
Ooooooh! Mindfulness in the schools! YES!! :)
