This is a picture of the family that Lilly drew at daycare today. It is our family, in the winter and we are all playing in the snow. I am pulling her sled, Nick is going to throw a snowball.
I especially like the details she has included, like our boots, and the puff balls on the end of her winter hat.
This is the picture that I made at school today. My students are reading sections from The Odyssey in small groups. They will present their section to the class in a travelogue, making it sound like a terrific experience even though, you know, it wasn't. Today I put together an abbreviated example based on "The Cyclops" section of the story. I did take the time to use the green screen and an app at school to make this picture:
