As I mentioned earlier, Lilly is very into books and has really started incorporating them into her daily life. A big hit from our recent trip to the library is the book Bink and Gollie. In this book two characters (Bink and Gollie) go roller skating. Bink buys incredibly bright socks at the Bargain Bonanza, much to Gollie's disappointment. Gollie wants Bink to take off the socks and Bink wants Gollie to make pancakes. The two end up making a compromise bonanza, where Bink takes off one bright sock in exchange for half of the pancakes Gollie made.
We were reading this book tonight while she was eating her bedtime snack. She took off one of her shoes and tried her best to say, "it's a compromise bonanza!"
In another book, Mr. Putter and Tabby Write a Book, Mr Putter ends up writing a Good Things list. While we were reading it last night Lilly mentioned things that would go on her Good Things list. The first thing - vegetables.
