We are back from a whirlwind Fourth of July weekend. On Thursday we headed to Tomahawk, WI to spend some time with my parents at their friends' house on a nice, calm, quiet lake. I'll post some photos from that trip later, once my parents come back and ideally share some of the photos they took. Then on Saturday morning we went to Eagle River, WI to go to Nick's uncle and aunt's cabin. Their kids were there, grandkids, and Nick's parents. And most importantly to Lilly, their dog Max. When we asked Lilly what her favorite part of the weekend was she told us, "petting Max."
Here are some photos from last week when we had the pool out. Lilly had a popsicle (we've created two rules for popsicles - you need to be outside and your hair in a ponytail). After she finished the popsicle it was time to climb the apple tree.
(You can't quite tell in these photos, but she has popsicle on her forehead. Also all over her legs. A bath was certainly in order after this experience!)
After Lilly tried her hand at climbing the tree, it was mom's turn. And Lilly had to take photos while I climbed. She took a decent photo - I'm actually in it!
