I successfully did planks and push ups every night in 2014! Many times I was in my nice warm bed, book in hand, running through my mental checklist of getting ready for bed and realized - crud! No planks or push ups. And I got out of bed and did them. Which means not including the push ups I did in my Jungle Gym Suspension Training class, I did 310 push ups in the month of January. Ten modified push ups each night allowed me to do three regular push ups at the end of the month. Ten regular push ups at the end of the year is going to be easy . . .
I upped my push ups to 15 this month and those last five are hard. But, it is only day two.
Pretty soon I will be super strong, like this Super Hero (who just said "orange" in her sleep).

ReplyDeleteReal pushups...blech. They are about as daunting to me as doing a real pull up... Good for you for going for it! :)
