Mid-quarter ended on Tuesday, my grades are due Monday morning at 8:00 AM. I had a dentist appointment right after school today and left the essays I absolutely had to grade tonight on my desk at school. So rather than grade some assignments that will go on the second half of the quarter, I've put together some miscellaneous photos from February for you.

| Lilly modeling the owl hat I knit for Braden. Also, hiding in her hockey net. She also likes to pass noodles back and forth through the net. Good times. |
 |
| Going for an airplane ride, giving up on tea cups and going right for the tea pot, making cookies, and having a popsicle. One must wear mittens while eating popsicles because they are cold. |
 |
| Tea Party wearing her birthday hat and fancy dress. She made the birthday hat herself out of a yarn label. |
Tuesday Lilly had her two-year well-baby visit. She actually did pretty well, especially with the finger prick at the end of the visit (she was most upset about having a bandage on her finger, mental note to tell the nurse next time, skip the band-aid). We had the benefit of having very friendly and good with kids nurse and lab tech, which was greatly appreciated. The most stressful bits for Lilly actually seemed to be getting weighed (27 pounds, 50th percentile) and measured (35.5 inches long, 90th percentile; head circumference 19.3 inches). But she was more than willing to show off how fast she could run and was even willing to talk some with the doctor. She was most eager to say, "bye bye" to her though and said it a bit more emphatically when the doctor popped her head one more time.
