On Sunday morning when we were trying to get Lilly ready to leave to go grocery shopping and to the bakery, she put on my Uggs. It was a fight to get them off. Her solution to what mom would wear? Lilly's shoes.

Later that afternoon we were heading over to our friends Tim and Elizabeth's house. Again, my boots were what she wanted to wear. She put them on and said, "Goalie! Save!". Yup, the boots reminded her of hockey goalie pads. I was impressed with the connection. Because, yeah, they kinda do!
Tonight we played hockey. Lilly had to wear her hockey pads then too.
