We had a rough morning leaving the house - Lilly was not interested in going to Tree Top, one of her most favorite places on the planet. We'd put a hat on her head, she'd whip it off. We finally had a little bit of success when we pulled out mittens with robots on them. Mittens she had never seen before. She still cried most of the way to day care, but we had a few calm moments. Of course as soon as we got there, she was smiles and excited to be there.
At pick up time, we put on her mittens and Lilly said, "Robot" only not quite as clearly and distinctly as that. And said robot repeatedly on the drive home. So what did we do tonight? We made a robot. She was really into it and we made it do all sorts of things. Things like:
1. Chase Lilly
2. Go down the slide
3. Go to the bathroom and wash its hands
4. Eat yogurt
Here are some photos. Santa (tanta) also had some yogurt at dinner.
