Dress Up

As I start to write this, Lilly is sitting having a snack on a seventy degree day, wearing a winter hat.  I have mentioned, I think, in an earlier post, Lilly's enjoyment of dressing up.  We still have our hats and mittens basket out (with the snow storms in May and all, who knows when we are going to need them) and she'll often wander over there and attempt to put on her hat, my hat, Nick's hat, a scarf, or a pair of mittens.  If we leave laundry out, the concern isn't so much that she'll unfold everything like it is with many kids, but rather what will she want to wear.

Here are a few dress up photos:

This outfit was more the work of her cousin Cally, but she wasn't in
any rush to get out of it.

On Wednesday, Lilly decided she needed to wear her winter hat and sunglasses
while she ate her dinner.

My jacket was in the winter clothes basket.

Wearing my hat, playing with Post-Its.  Life is good.

Wearing Nick's biking jersey.
Finally summer and she wanted to wear her mittens.
