Boots and Outside

Boots

Lilly has a pair of red cowgirl rain boots.  She is obsessed with them.  If she sees them, she picks them up and either tries to put them on herself, or brings them over to us to have us put them on.  It doesn't matter time of day, what she's "planning" on doing, if she sees them, she needs to wear them.  Here are a few photos of her wearing her boots.

Lilly loves playing with the bathroom sink or the dryer, both of which are behind this door.  I was tired of playing in the sink and with the dryer, so I closed the door.  Lilly pushed the box over to the door, climbed on top of the box and tried opening the door.  Luckily the box blocked the door from being opened.  (She also decided she needed to wear the scarf)

Outside

Being outside is Lilly's other favorite things.  Easter weekend I had Thursday, Friday and Monday and Tuesday off.  On Thursday we went for THREE walks.  The first one was my idea, the other two were Lilly's.  After dinner she picked up her hat and put it on and then was trying to put on her jacket.  It will be great this summer, but with this winter that is dragging on and on, some days it is a little tricky to play outside for as long as she would like to be outside.  We're thrilled though, for we too love being outside.  Today is a lovely day, we will have to spend much of it outside, for there is snow in the forecast this entire week!!

Saturday 4/6 was a cool and rainy/snowy day.  Lilly really wanted to go outside, so we put on her rain suit and headed outside.  We were outside for 30 minutes or so and she was not happy when I made her come inside!  My feet were freezing though, so I figured she had to be cold too.
